Sustainability
At Woodward Design+Build, we believe building to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards represents a new way of thinking in the construction industry that is here to stay. It is a whole-building approach to sustainable design, incorporating the five areas of environment and human health: site, indoor air, water, energy, and materials.

Woodward Design+Build is proud to be a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. We are involved in building projects that are not only profitable, but also reflect responsibility to the environment and the community. We educate our clients on how implementing a sustainable approach can benefit their building’s construction and cost of operations and improve the quality of life of the people who will occupy it.
Members of both our design and build staff receive education by the USGBC, which gives Woodward Design+Build the tools to impact a building’s performance throughout all phases of design, construction, and use.
