Walker Volkswagen - Metairie

This State-of-the-Art Design Build Project helped to kick off a new Walker Volkswagen design and marketing campaign. The project was extremely complex, but Woodward worked through the specifications with the client to deliver the futuristic curtain-wall designed building within budget and on time.

Walker Volkswagen – Metairie has a two-story showroom with an angled front curtain wall. Like other Walker Motors projects, the Dealership has an abundance of glass at the storefront which enables the extensive $225,000 lighting system to highlight vehicles in the showroom and on the outside display. Additionally, a modern service and “get-ready” building attaches at the rear, giving Walker Motors a real showplace for the new dealership.
