Smart Car

From the streets of London to Rome, the Smart Car is a common sight in urban transportation. Now, Smart Car has come to the United States. Woodward Design+Build was called upon to convert an existing Audi dealership (originally constructed by Woodward as well) into a new Smart Car dealership.

The inside of the showroom was completely redone to fit the Smart Car image. Walls were refinished, new porcelain tile was installed and a new reception desk was constructed. The exterior was changed by constructing a new entry portal using metal studs and alucabond panels, new glass entry, new EIFS and painting to match Smart Car’s design.

The dealership had to stay operative and completion time was critical. Woodward’s field staff worked around the dealership employees and finished the project on budget and thirty days ahead of schedule.
