The redevelopment of the Saratoga Building includes the complete demolition of the interior of the building down to the concrete structure, core and shell. A new roof will be installed at the 15th floor of the building where the previous one had failed. The build-out of the interior of the building features a conversion into 155 new apartments including studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units. This scope of work includes new metal studs, insulation, drywall, new kitchen and bath fixtures and a newly redesigned mechanical, plumbling, electrical and sprinkler system. The scope also includes rebuilding and modifying 4 existing elevators, rebuilt corridors and elevator lobbies. The 1st floor lobbies have been completely refurbished. In addition, retail space has been created at the street level.
