Whitney National Bank - Driftwood Branch

Since its inception in 1883, Whitney National Bank has been a fixture in the community of New Orleans. Whitney has continually grown and expanded and is now a banking leader in the Gulf South.
Whitney National Bank turned to Woodward Design+Build for their new branch to be located in Kenner, LA. Woodward worked closely with Whitney National Bank and Williams and Associated Architects to deliver a building that would meet all the requirements of the bank’s customers and staff. The Driftwood Branch included both a main building and detached drive-thru. The bank featured staff office space, kitchen/break room, and conference space that featured custom millwork, glass, and stone. Special security features included a precast concrete safe and video monitoring of all drive-thru lanes.
