Tulane University: Turchin Stadium

The new Turchin Stadium is a 5000 seat, pro-style baseball stadium. Woodward Design+Build’s scope of work included site work, the stadium construction, elevators, suites and press box. The project increases the number of chair back seats in the stadium from 900 to over 2,700 and adds private suites, an open-air club suite, a partially covered seating area and a new press box. Four private suites flank the breezeway on the first base line and will include air Conditioning and restrooms. Suites will be accessible via elevator, which will also provide access to the new press box. An additional restroom facility between the stadium and Wilson Center is currently under construction. Woodward is excited to bring this new landmark facility to the campus of Tulane University for the 2008 baseball season.
