New Orleans Voodoo Practice Facility

The New Orleans VooDoo Training Facility was built during Tom Benson’s tenure as team owner. The facility is approximately 12,500 square feet of multiple use facilities. It is not only a favorite for the players, but has also been called “the finest facility in the Arena Football League” by AFL Commissioner David Baker.

The front entrance of the building leads into a reception and guest restroom area and the facility has a private office for each of the coaches, along with a coach’s locker room and shower area. A large conference room and meeting rooms for the players can be separated into offense and defense meeting areas. The training staff has been well-equipped with a large room with taping tables, an office for the head trainer as well as a whirlpool room. Equipment is no problem with specialized shelving in the equipment area as well as a pass-through counter for distributing to players and an office for the equipment staff. Adjacent to the equipment room is a full-service commercial laundry. The players’ area is complete with a full-size locker room, bathroom, shower area, and a steam room. The back of the building leads from the players’ entry directly onto a new artificial grass field.
