Air National Guard Alert Hangars

Woodward Design+Build was contracted through Bucon (a division of the Butler Building Company) to construct 2 Air National Guard Alert Hangars due to the extensive experience in hangars, the Air National Guard, and Butler Heavy Structures. These hangers were designed to house F15 fighter jets, which the National Guard has on standby as a result of the 911 attacks. In addition to erecting the steel hangars, Woodward installed the concrete foundations and paving to facilitate the loads of the aircraft.
