Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans

Originally built by Woodward Design+Build in 1990, Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans is undergoing a major facelift into the new Mercedes-Benz Autohas style dealership. This will be one of the first Mercedes-Benz retail centers in the country to undergo this renovation. Due to the great working relationship with Benson Motors over the years, Woodward Design+Build was the obvious choice to handle this renovation.
The project encompasses the deomolition of the existing showroom, storefront, stairwell and sales offices. Over 6,000 square feet of new showroom, customer service areas and sales offices are then being constructed. All of the customer service areas will feature new flooring, wall finishes, ceilings and lighting. The front of the dealership facing Veterans Blvd. will showcase the new Mercedes-Benz Autohas design using tapered columns and castelated beams along with a glass storefront. A new HVAC system will service the new addition to the building. All restrooms will be refurbished and renovated. An additional driveway off of Veterans Blvd. will also be added.
