Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans

Originally built by Woodward Design+Build in 1990, Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans underwent a major facelift into the new Mercedes-Benz Autohaus style dealership. This is one of the first Mercedes-Benz retail centers in the country to undergo this renovation. Due to the great working relationship with Benson Motors over the years, Woodward Design+Build was the obvious choice to handle this renovation.

The project encompassed the demolition of the existing showroom, storefront, stairwell and sales offices. Over 6,000 square feet of new showroom, customer service areas and sales offices were then constructed. All of the customer service areas feature new flooring, wall finishes, ceilings and lighting. The front of the dealership facing Veterans Boulevard showcases the new Mercedes-Benz Autohaus design using tapered columns and castellated beams along with a glass storefront. A new HVAC system services the new addition to the building. All restrooms have been refurbished and renovated. An additional driveway off of Veterans Boulevard has also been added.
