Hunting Energy Phase I
The Hunting Energy manufacturing complex in Houma, LA is located on a 50 acre site that was partially wooded and partially covered by a sugar cane field. The first stage of the project was the site clearing and installation of utility infrastructure: storm water, sewer, domestic water, firewater, gas and electrical service. This included wetlands mitigation, the construction of a four acre retention pond, site fill, roads and the addition of a turning lane on Hwy. 311 into the property.
The site features two main structures. The Deepwater Building is a 21,600 square foot material storage warehouse with four 10 ton Bridge Cranes. The Manufacturing Building is 73,720 square foot air conditioned machine and fabrication shop. It also contains warehouse space and support offices for administration, management, QA/QC, shipping and receiving.
