521 Tchoupitoulas

The best of New Orleans is at your doorstep at 521 Tchoupitoulas. The antebellum building was once a warehouse for the bustling New Orleans riverfront and later served as an exhibition hall for the 1984 World’s Fair. Woodward Design+Build brought an expertise in historic restoration to retain the character and charm of the building during the conversion of 53,800 square feet into an extended stay facility that combines comfort, style and luxury. Brick walls exude historic character, and a soaring atrium brings natural light to a lushly landscaped common area. The project also included secure indoor parking, a card key-controlled entry system, a fitness center, an attractive, landscaped common area, an outdoor pool, 24-hour convenience store, business center, courtyard and barbecue area. The building houses 24 suites, with each featuring 10-foot ceilings, exposed brick walls, wood floors, tiled bathrooms, and stainless steel kitchens with granite countertops.
