Wyndham La Belle Maison

New Orleans offers visitors an unparalleled experience and The Wyndham La Belle Maison offers visitors a perfect location to enjoy all that the city has to offer. Creating this perfect spot offered a challenge to the team at Woodward Design+Build to convert multiple buildings into a cohesive complex.
The project required the conversion of 5 seperate 6-story buildings into one 9 story timeshare. One building (facing Common Street) was demolished while preserving its original facade. A new structure was built behind the facade. The buildings facing Magazine Street and Gravier Street were all originally 6 stories. The 7th floor roof was demolished, the existing structure was shored, and the associated foundation was removed. A new concrete foundation was installed, floors 2-6 were reinforced, and 3 new floors were constructed on the top along with a new roof. La Belle Maison features 134 one and two bedroom units, a center atrium, lobby, fitness center, pool, garage, and sauna.
