Caldwell Condominiums

Set in the heart of the Second District at Baronne Street and Lafayette Street, this warehouse conversion to luxury condos is one of the growing number of homes for “city dwellers.” Woodward Design+Build, has taken a three-story brick and wood frame shell to a four-story, 12 unit luxury condominium residence.

As with any high density building area, home safety is a primary consideration. Building access is by coded entry, and all living spaces are equipped with smoke and fire monitoring equipment. Additionally, the structure has two sprinkler systems: a wet system for interior spaces and a dry system to provide water wall protection from adjacent buildings.

Units are either two bedroom, two bathrooms or three bedroom, three bathrooms. Kitchens come with granite counter tops, sub-zero refrigerators and cook-top ranges. Sixteen-foot ceilings and original hardwood floors add special dimensions to downtown living. The average square footage of the units is about 1,800 square feet.
