Scott has been in the construction industry from the time he was old enough to pick up a hammer. He started out working after school and on weekends with his Father's carpentry business, and he continued with carpentry work throughout college. When the Summer break would arrive, he also found work in a variety of trades, such as concrete formwork, painting, welding, flooring installation, roofing and storm drainage over the Summers. By the time Scott graduated in 2001, he had years of hands-on construction experience to apply to his classroom learning.  It is this background and his subsequent years working as an Estimator and Project Manager that Scott brought to the Woodward team in 2011, when he joined as a Lead Estimator. His estimating experience spans numerous building types, including institutional, religious, educational, hospitality, recreational, retail, warehouses, office buildings, metal buildings, interior renovations and historic renovations.

Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lousiana State University in 2001.
