Larry Case

The "design" in Woodward Design+Build can be traced to the roots of founder and architect Carl E. Woodward. For the last 45 years, Larry H. Case has expanded on that vision through his design skills at Woodward.  His experience has covered all types of construction including sports facilties, medical facilities, shopping centers, multi-story offices, hotels, religious, educational, museums, residential, automobile dealerships, industrial and manufacturing, warehouses, renovations to the Louisiana Superdome, and the training facilities for the New Orleans Saints. Recently, Larry served as the Architect of Record for The Weatherford International Manufacturing and Office Complex, which was awarded a South Central Construction Best of 2009 Louisiana Award of Excellence in the Industrial Category.

Larry earned both a Bachelors and Masters in Architecture from Tulane University. Prior to college, Larry served four years in the United States Air Force. Larry holds licenses in four states: Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Florida. In addition, he holds a license for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

As part of his work at Woodward, Larry has been involved in numerous community and professional activities, and has served on the Board of Directors for the New Orleans Museum of Art, the New Orleans Ballet, McGehee School for Girls, Magnolia School for Those with Developmental Disabilities, the Louisiana Architects Association, and the New Orleans Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Larry has served two terms on the Louisiana Architects Solution Board, and served as the Commander of the United States Power Squadron, Metairie Division.
