Safety starts long before the job does. This philosophy regarding safety is the guiding principle that Safety Manager Jerry Arnold has implemented at Woodward. Woodward has developed a culture that promotes an injury-free environment and provides the safest workplace possible for our employees, subcontractors, clients, and others who enter or who are near our construction sites.

Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Jerry is a CHST, Certified Health and Safety Technician, and SSH, Specialist in Safety and Health in the Construction Industry. In addition, he has completed Hazmat Training, is certified in CPR and Basic First Aid, OSHA 10 Hour, OSHA 30 Hour, OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer, USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractor's Training, AGC Safety Management Training Course, Crisis Management Training, Medic First Aid CPR and Basic First Aid Trainer. He is an advisory member to the local chapter of the National Safety Council, and an advisory member to Delgado Community College's Safety Department.
