Woodward Headquarters Earns LEED Gold!

25 October 2013

When Woodward Design+Build set out to build its new headquarters facility at 1000 South Jefferson Davis Parkway, it did so with sustainability in mind. Now, affirming all of the thoughtful design and hard work that went into our building, the U.S. Green Building Council has recognized the Woodward Headquarters with a LEED Gold Certification.

The LEED Gold Certification means that the Woodward building earned 60-79 points spread across five major credit categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality. Each point we earned means a healthier workplace for our employees, a sustainable addition to our community and a greener future for the construction industry. We couldn’t be more proud of our LEED Gold designation. It’s just one way Woodward stands by its commitment to sustainability.
