The Will W. Alexander Library at Dillard University
March 18 2008
The dedication of the The Will W. Alexander Library at Dillard University takes place on March 18. 2008. Woodward Design+Build was proud to partner with Dillard University in not only the restoration of their campus following Hurricane Katrina, but working together to greatly improve the university’s facilities for students, teachers, staff, and the surrounding community. A story on the reopening of the library appeared on the front page of the March 17th edition of The Times-Picayune.

City Business 2008 Top Construction Projects

The lastest issue of City Business (February 25) will features the pullout 2008 Top Construction Projects. The hurricane restoration and rebuilding of Dillard University’s campus is featured as the #4 project. Woodward Design+Build is very proud of our partnership with Dillard to not only rebuild the campus but make major improvements as well. Many other Woodward projects are also featured such as Jackson Barracks and River Garden. Don’t miss our new ad on the back cover!
New Stadium is a Hit on Opening Weekend

Green Wave Baseball started off the 2008 season with a 3-0 start in their new ballpark. The new Turchin Stadium was a great success with the team and the fans. Woodward Design+Build President/CEO Paul H. Flower was on hand to throw out the first pitch at Friday night’s game.
