New Tulane University Biloxi Campus Open for Business

On October 26, 2015, Tulane University held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new, expanded Biloxi Campus built by Woodward Design+Build. The new facility is a 14,961-square-foot building which doubles the size of the old campus.

New Orleans-based university expands on Mississippi coast

Tulane University has officially unveiled its expanded campus on the Mississippi coast.
The New Orleans-based private university held dedication ceremonies Monday in Biloxi, with Tulane President Michael Fitts in attendance.
In a news release, Tulane said the new, expanded facility is a 14,961-square-foot building with an academic area twice the size of the old campus. It allows the faculty and staff to serve 500 evening and weekend students and 500 daytime students.
Tulane’s Mississippi coast campus has been open since 2001. It currently offers undergraduate degrees in applied business, homeland security, media arts, applied computing, health and wellness, social science, and humanities. It also offers a master’s degree in Liberal Arts and a doctorate of social work.
