Over the Edge at Benson Tower

Benson Tower represents one more step in the recovery of New Orleans and part of the complete renovation of the area surrounding the Louisiana Superdome, including the new Champions Square gameday area. On August 27, Woodward was excited to participate in Rita Benson-LeBlanc’s charitable event“Over the Edge“to raise money for The Special Olympics. Contributors were able to rappel down the side of the 26 story Benson Tower with the Jefferson Parish SWAT Team.
